Excursions by motorboat across the alluvial plains and lagoons

Brothers Glauco and Renzo Stefanato, proud boatmen like all of their ancestors from 1566 onwards, can be considered an integral part of the flood plain environment, such is the depth of their knowledge and affection for the Sile and the cultures that have been reflected on its surface over the centuries. Although they are guardians of an ancient tradition, they are not in the least reluctant to let others share in the wonders of the area. Once at the helm of their boats they become impassioned guides, experts in the history and traditions of this land, to say nothing of their abilities as over-the-top MCs and, on occasion, experts cooks!

They lead excursions by motorboat at the weekend, and during summer also on Thursdays. The rough timetable is as follows.
- Depart Casale sul Sile (8.20am), pass Quarto d'Altino (9am) and Portegrandi (9.45am).
- Stop-offs: Torcello, Burano, S. Francesco del Deserto.
- Return: 6.30pm at Casale.

Tariffs:
Adults - £.40.000
Children up to the age of 14 - £.30.000
Children up to the age of 4 - free
(these tariffs do not include: bar and restaurants bills, entrance fees, transfers to Venice or any other expenses).

N.B.: in case of bad weather or marked variations in water levels, the management reserves the right to modify or interrupt the excursion. The timetables are subject to change for navigational reasons.
